Responsible at IBM for TD Bank (largest account in Canada) since July 2012.  As Project Executive led and delivered infrastructure service design and transition for MBNA Mastercard, Aeroplan VISA, and other programs/projects.
Currently acting/interim Segment Technology Executive (AVP role) establishing new services for ITS organization (since April 2015).
Senior Director 3+ Transformed IT Infrastructure and later Enterprise Architecture.  Established new SAP and Supply Chain environments, including developing Store 2.0, Network 2.0, Data Centre 2.0 strategies.
Assistant Vice President Sun Life Financial logo 1+ Restructured IT Infrastructure to a lower-cost more effective global operations and technical support shared services model and established a shift to a performance culture.
Technical Account Manager (TAM) & Senior Architect Sun Microsystems logo Bell Canada 3+

Relationship services and technical solution architecture provided to Canada's largest telecommunications companies (Bell, Telus, Amdocs).  Extensive work at Bell Canada creating adaptive infrastructure.

Create Project Charter and kick-off planning for the information technology aspects of what was the largest construction project in North America (the $3.5B new terminal at the Toronto Int'l AirportAlso delivered new traveller way-finding and new FIDS integration system.
Chief Architect, Director, Sr Manager  oracle logo 7+ Began with management of Canadian I.T., data centres, North American technical staff operations (service/delivery), became member of the management team at global headquarters creating and running "Global Networks" division (a $38M, 140 staff operation overseeing a $300M global Telco spend - reducing it by 40%), and finally responsible for Oracle's world-wide network architecture architecting the consolidation of 65 data centres to 4 as part of Oracle's "save $1billion" a well publicized initiative.

First-half of career involved programming, systems administration (UNIX & databases), technical analysis, sales, and marketing (product management) for high-technology companies:

  • Systems Specialist at Jonas & Erickson Software Technology Inc. (2 years - marketing and customer support, UNIX products)
  • Senior Marketing Rep (sales) at Tandy Business Products (InterTan Canada Ltd.) (2 years - sales of UNIX based solutions)
  • Consultant/programmer MacDonald Consulting (various contracts including 2 at Northern Telecom (NorTel), Moog Canada, Canada Packers, M-O Freightlines)
